Wow. A documentary about anime fans. Too something about this has alread been done, called "Otaku Unite."

Is it really necessary to make two documentaries about the same thing, featuring appearances by the same people?

I had heard that 'Otaku Unite!' was a bit dated in it's content..and there was some problems in it's presentation, maybe this one will at least clear up these problems?

I for one like the idea of seeing more documentaries about anime. Two documentaries is nothing.

I'd like to see something that isn't such a wank-fest. Something that shows both sides of anime fandom. I've seen Otaku Unite and it's mostly a love-in for anime fans; I expect this to be the same.

I'm all about documentaires on anime. It's documentaries on anime fans that we don't need.

Speak for yourself. I personally don't see any problem with that.

Well, when the American public watches a documentary where the fat men in the Sailor Mercury and Faye Valentine costumes go on about how Love Hina is the great artistic masterpiece of our time, it doesn't put the rest of us in a good light, nor does it do much to attract new fans. Like Zac, I'd rather see something a bit more fair & balanced, and not just the greasy otaku among us stroking each other's egos and Ryo-Ohki plushies.
