I love Matsumoto and all, but this is getting ridiculous. Christ, the Harlock/Yamato universe is getting more complicated than Tenchi, Gundam, and X-Men...combined.

Hehe...I agree. They are getting carried away with Matsumoto's world. They need to stop mooching of this series.

Don't get me started with DB GT *shudders*

There's also a Galaxy Express sidestory anime based on the other Galaxy Express trains. I saw the first episode fansubbed, and I didn't care for it. I don't think it'll come over here.

I saw that one, too. Galaxy Express 999 was great because it had a great storyline and memorable characters, not because it was about a train through space. Ditching the first two was the perfect formula for a new show, and I hope to see that trend continue. I mean, if we've already brought the Yamato back as a spaceship, why stop there? I really want to see a series devoted to the adventures of the Space Battleship Lusitania. Don't you?
