I sure hope everything will be okay with Ramba Ral's first actor, Masashi Hirose.

Sooooo I've never watched Gundam (though I have a couple figures and a manga) but this looks pretty interesting. Origins mean I can watch this without needing to have seen the other series right?

Origins is going to be a prequel to the very first Gundam series, so you probably could watch it without being confused. However they might just assume everyone watching Origins has already seen 0079, so they might not go into great details about character backgrounds and what not. So I'd say wait and see, or watch Gundam 0079, or Read the Origins Manga. |

I hope that the home release for the BD will contain English sub like it did with Unicorn.
Glad to see Shuuchi Ikeda & Banjou Ginga back for their original roles. The rest of the new cast/recast are decent and good. |

unfortunately the odds of the english dub VA for the older char and sayla will reprise their roles is non existant considering that most of the cast for the dub version for those ocean studio dubs are probably retired. my guess is that if there is a dub version is that the same VA that voiced full frontle will do this version of older char.

I hope to see this on Crunchyroll, and I do agreed with jr0904, the chances of Michael Kopsa reprising his role as Char is very slim. Also I'm not sure if this will get dub or not.

Most recently, Kopsa's voiced a few characters in Littlest Pet Shop on Discovery Family (formerly Hub). It might not be a total stretch to get him back, but it's hard to say if he'll do anime again (last time was in the Black Lagoon: Robert's Blood Trail OVA in 2010). Alaina Burnett is much less likely, given she hasn't done any anime roles in almost ten years now. |

It's already been said there will be a dub like with Unicorn. I hope this leads up to Origin's manga actually being animated since this is mostly a prequel. |
