And how do you know? There's a difference between assumption and knowing. We're all likely correct that it's not Akira, but that's still at best a guess. |

It could be Akira, but that's unlikely. Whatever it is, however, I will be looking forward to it. I really enjoyed Akira, Steamboy and Metropolis (although the latter two seem to overlap in themes a bit, and even Akira has those themes as well), so this should be good.
It's probably going to be about technology again, but that's okay in my books. |

Because the live-action Akira from Hollywood is scrapped (or put on hold), and there's no way Japanese filmmakers can pull off Akira given that Japanese filmmaking is not on par to Hollywood in term of special effects and budget. So we can rule out Akira live-action adaptation from Japan. |
