I thought I was the only one that thought that Yasutomo Arakita kinda adorable, so good to know and Sports anime continue to dominate these kind of lists it seems.
I like all of the guys on this list but Levi is top of the list for me

And so, the annual debate about why the Japanese confuse Christmas with Valentine's Day, now that they already started the "chocolate" thing for the real Valentine's, appears again...
Can't recall which series, but there was one episode where the characters were discussing "Christmas dates", and say "Of course, in the West, they treat it as more of a religious holiday, but our Japanese traditions are different..."
(Oh, I'm sorry our Portuguese missionaries got it ALL WRONG four hundred years ago, we should have consulted your country first. )

My Arakita feels are also still raging after that last episode. I'd take him on a Christmas date <3
Can't believe Makoto lost the race for second though, and to a little shota looking thing no less (yeah yeah I haven't watched UnPS, let me hear all about it). I'll never recover.

Same on both accounts. I watched both seasons of UtaPri and I found every dude blander than rice cakes but I guess UtaPri fans still outnumber Haikyuu! and Free! fans.
Also, I guess Arakita is first because the Yowapeda fans thought he died in the last episode? He and Minami are my favorite from that team but I was expecting the poor guy to fall off his bike after he lost steam.

Rin (Love Live!) suddenly seems to be doing really well in popularity polls which is nice to see. & Syo is easily the best UtaPri character so it is nice to see he is popular too.

I figured they'd pick characters out of Date A Live. You know. Since the series is pretty much about dates.

Yasutomo Arakita (Yowamushi Pedal) |
Is it because of his outbursts of rage and Tsundere behavior, or because he's an 18-years-old jock?

It's refreshing to see that Rin Hoshizora is faring well in popularity these days. Her smile is certain to light up one's Christmas morning.

Even by the title, I knew Levi had to be SOMEWHERE on the list.

I would love to take Aiko Takamori from Idolmaster Cinderella Girls on a Christmas date but also would spend Christmas Eve night with her as well and just cuddle for the rest of the night.

Oh well, they're the smart ones. Must be confusing for actual Christians in Japan, but hey, they only account for 1-2% (and 7 prime-ministers, including Taro Aso). Most of Japan nowadays isn't even religious.
And our Portuguese missionaries were doing fine (400.000 Japanese on their side and such). It's just that the Tokugawa Shogunate came and...
