Oh so this will a Spring show...

Another one to the list I guess. I'm wondering if this will be a 1 cour though. The designs look alright.

Finished reading the first volume of the LN. I'm excited for this, and also to get the second volume which is also coming out in April. Hope it's a good adaption (It's J.C. Staff, so it seems likely) and that it does well for them.

"Is anyone getting sick and tired of these overly-long anime titles that are in the form of a question?"

Find the differences:
"Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru no Darō ka?" & "Shokugeki no Sōma" are both J.C.Staff shows that will air in April, have Matsuoka Yoshitsugu & Ōnishi Saori as VAs, and have Aketagawa Jin as the Sound Director.

"He travels the dungeons, he get's the babes, coming this summer watch Machete Kills Again But In A Dungeon This Time."

In all seriousness though, this show doesn't sound too hot, but I've been wrong before with my predictions plenty of times, so I'll see.

Have you heard about "Aketagawa's girls"? japanese otaku have spotted same VAs getting major roles in where Aketagawa is in charge. The term is mainly referred to Risa Taneda though...

at least it's not a beta male lead, those can easily make a show lame, the only one that I rememebr that handled it well recently is witchcraft works.

According to her namesake's Wiki article, Hestia "is a virgin goddess of the hearth, ancient Greek architecture, and the right ordering of domesticity, the family, and the state."

With this, I'd imagine this Hestia as being a yamato nadeshiko but her DanMachi wiki article doesn't agree with that.

IMO she is more of a pettanko than a loli.

Sounds like something that could be funny depending on whether or not they stick to jokes and don't try to focus on some super serious but crappy storyline at some point.

Actually, her DanMachi wiki profile shows her to be a busty loli. It's a common trend that a loli be either a pettanko (flat-chested) or busty.

It's split 50-50ish between plot and harem. I'm betting though that this will just be a 1 cour promotional anime though. Should mean more sales of the novels and manga for Yen Press though.

I love the translation of that title and that is a reason I plan on watching it.
