Glad to see that No-Rin will be on Home Video, but the vagueness of how and when it will be released is not conforting to say the least.

Also FUNimation, the best thing you credit Shin Oomura according to your blog post is the Negima OAVs when he also directed Baka & Test? Really?!

Maybe they thought the Negima OAVs were better than Baka & Test.

In this recent rush of licenses, I wonder if the Date a Live LNs will get picked up soon. It might gain some popularity due to the anime being released already.

I hope so and that yen press picks it up, The LN volumes in JP did alright, I would very much like the series to grow

Hope the JPN BDs adds a lot more to the original TV eps - season 2 ended up being disappointing by the time it was over for me.... seemed like a ton of scenes were missing throughout as well.

As a matter of fact the Blue rays add alot of extra scenes, I've watched raws containg the new stuff and they fixed the animation quality issues the TV broadcast had

Despise what the majority of viewers apparently think, I found Seikoku no Dragonar (Dragonar Academy) to be an OK light-hearted show (and there lies my main unsatisfactory point: it felf light-hearted even during moments it tried to be serious).
Given the pretty low Home Release numbers and overall rating this show got, a 2nd season is probably out of the question.

The one character I liked in Dragonar Academy was meant to be an object of ridicule inside the series; The show had tonal issues, yeah.

Date a Live was decent if kind of weird in the second half. Still a step down from the first season.

No Rin, Silver Spoon with entertainment value, is getting a physical, fantastic. Yeah, it's not going to get dubbed, is it? There's got to be something wrong here, I actually want this one.

Whether or not Dragonar Academy & Date A Live II had good overall quality is subjective, I watched so I get my seasonal dose of harem/fan service shows.

Then we'd better hope that Funi's US BDs actually reflect the Japanese BD version. Same with Dragonar Academy, where the AT-X broadcast had scenes that weren't in the standard broadcast or Funi's simulcast. Which is understandable for streams, of course.

Or as some would say, the otaku-oriented mirror image of Silver Spoon. I thought both shows had entertainment value as well as heartwarming and/or sad moments, but sadly the fanservice factor in No-Rin is probably too much of a turnoff for those who don't care for ecchi. I'd imagine it has a fair chance of a dub, though; "boob shows" tend to do reasonably well, and No-Rin doesn't revolve around a niche/disturbing fetish like OniAi.

Let's just hope Funi doesn't re-use their C- streaming subs as-is for the disc release.

Well Funi receives the exact same Blue Ray masters from the production company so I don't see why they would be different.
