I read this manga a while back, it's first 10 chapters or so and I really wasn't impressed. Did it's anime turn out to be better?

That is a lovely Figure though

It's absolute shit. Just another harem anime with unnecessary child nudity, overused plot about a tournament, and generic characters.

It is generic, but it is hardly offensive unless you are super "think of the children" mentality and think depictions of teenage characters being horny is a huge sin.

Strange how FUNi does all of these contests, but doesn't actually give away the anime they're promoting.

I liked the series. It's no masterpiece, but I found the dolls (not just the female ones, all of them) intriguing. The tournament is focused on so little that it's easy to forget there even is one and hard to call this a tournament anime.

I actually prefer it that way. I wouldn't want to enter to win something I had already preordered and recieved.

Not that I ever win, mind you.

It also helps solve the age-restriction question posed in the thread for the last give-away. With swag, they probably have an easier time avoiding the content related concerns and reduce it down to whether or not there is a choking hazard from small pieces (which shouldn't be an issue for anyone that would be signing up.) Since no fragile minds are being warped, the contest can be left open to a wider set that might get on FUNi's mailing list in the process.

...well, at least until there is alcohol or tobacco involved. Can't go ingratiating the kiddies to physical vices, got to stick with the mental ones.

I think it's a decent show. You're not missing anything spectacular if you pass on it, though.

Are you implying all people against the depiction of nude horny children are super religious? I don't find it offensive, I find it unnecessary and stupid to have characters that look 9-12 try to seduce the main character constantly. Yaya (and most of the other girl characters) have nothing to them other than to fall in love with the protagonist.

The thing of it is though Yaya doesn't have dialogue written like a 9-12 year old, her dialogue puts her at the very least on par with the protagonist so even if she is supposed to be taken as a "younger romantic interest" it wouldn't be that he was poaching for a character that would be mentally a child compared to his age.

Any of the human female cast have some sort of goal, at the very least if they are academy students they are acting to be "number one" in the contest disregarding story details such as Charlotte trying to redeem her families name.

The characters might have intentional costume designs to be eye candy, but to imply they only exist to "appease the main protagonist for an eventual haram setting" is simply a baffling assertion.

You seem to think I care what people are attracted to. I don't mind that some people like lolis, but they made Yaya and the dog girl have some of the most cringey harem dialogue I've ever seen. I remember something along the lines of "oh no please don't come to rape me" when all he did was say something completely unrelated Rolling Eyes . And then there was the scene where she was coming to "assassinate" him while wearing an extremely tight leather suit with a knife between her breasts....because that makes sense.

When someone comes out with the statement of

it is a noticeably charged phrase that would denote that this series is exceptionally bad.

I will end this dialogue and express that it is simply a peeve of mine when people place interpretably strong phrasing when they are simply exaggerating there mood, unless you were being honest and were holding back on some long winded rant about why "this series is one of the worst I have seen in a while".[/spoiler]

I meant people attracted to lolis, not people liking the show.

It's not incredibly bad, but it's the same harem shit I've seen a million times, the only difference is it actually shows uncensored child nudity.

There's only one loli character in the show anyways. Yaya definitely isn't one.
