Since I've actually read the first novel (which I'm guessing will take 4-5 episodes to cover), this is one of my most-anticipated new titles of the season. Though it seems to be going in a somewhat harem-like direction, its concept and world-building are actually pretty interesting.

Agreed. It wasn't a bad choice for one of the first light novels to be released over here without an existing anime, and I really don't mind the apparent harem direction as long as they don't go overboard with it.

Any monster girls?
With" Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?" in the title I think of dungeon game monster girls like lamia and goo girls.

Still going to watch it ether way.

I feel a certain marvel at the engineering required in Hestia's outfit that somehow manages to have her boobs provide an obstacle to lifting her arms over her head.

Madan no Ō to Vanadis' anime adaptation took the first 7 LNs and crammed them into a single 13-episode cour; on the other hand, Kyōkaisen-jō no Horizon's adaptations were 2 LNs per 13-episode cour. And of course there are the multiple Durarara!! animes (first one was a 25-episode show based on the first 3 LNs, the 3 split-cour continuations are animating 3 LNs into a single-cour show, each).

The industry average is at 3-4 episodes per LN, but we will have to wait and see.

The article only lists the family name of the protagonist's voice actor. It should be Yoshitsugu MATSUOKA, with a link.

Also figured I'd point out that Yen is publishing both the light novels and the main manga adaptation (only the LN license was mentioned in the article).

Maybe not because we are bound to read about an even weirder title.

It's really a shame that it looks like it's going to take the harem/mild ecchi road. I would think it to be a better idea to wear loose fitting clothes for ease of movement rather than tight fitting body suits.

He's not trying to pick up monsters in the dungeon, he's trying to pick up normal girls.

Aside from gods and elves there are some beast races like cat-people and such, but this isn't Monster Musume. The monsters in the dungeon don't behave like people. They're basically just hostile, wild animals.

I was reading the manga of that. Really boring stuff. I lost interest in RPGs some time ago though, if I were 10 years younger I would have liked it more.

So is this harem romance or romance romance with a harem?
