Well son of a bitch. I guess all things eventually come to an end.

I stopped reading a number of months ago though. I should try and catch up before it finishes.

It''s been a long, crazy run.

What a fun series -- and near the middle of the series the art grew to be quite excellent as well as the story. It is a shame nobody licensed it for the US because I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I will miss the manga, but hopefully a season 3 will finally be released now to end the anime too.

IIRC, Young Gangan is a bi-weekly publication, which might explain how volume #15 of Sekirei was when the series entered its last Arc (back in 2013, I think), and volume #17 is only now being published.

even i was wondering about that. if freezing could get a US release, then i'm sure sekirei can get one as well.

Season 2 stopped at Vol 9, so 2 more cours should be enough to cover the rest.

Just a few weeks ago, scanlators resumed their work on it since putting on hiatus since September. I wonder how many chapters they are behind with the series and what volume their scans correspond to.

While it seems like Minato has picked Musubi, I wish that became official and that he has a love scene with Musubi.

That would be nice since I really liked the show, but I'm not exactly counting on seeing more of the anime.

Interestingly enough, I'm going to be doing a Minaka cosplay at my local con next weekend. Was hoping for this to come over as well as there to be a third season. So did Funimation reps I talked to as they liked the series and it sold well.

When I was at Saboten Con back in August, I was at an Alexis Tipton autograph line where I told her that I felt her best role that she did was Musubi. Some reasons why I choose this is because Sekirei is one of the first dubbed harem anime that I saw and because of the fighting (of course, the fan service is the main reason).

Well it was time for the manga to end anyway. So it's regrettable.

Well, if they did. It would've been done and shown already. I guess 2 seasons was good enough.

Ten years ago I would have said "no chance in hell", nowadays with so many subpar harem series *looks at winter 2014/15* and the shrinking availability of new pouplar manga series (they are being animated faster than new series appear) I would say it has a real chance in the near future.

Didn't know that this was still going. I had started watching the 1st series some years ago but never finished. I guess if you had a shelf then you could put this on your shelf next to 'Freezing'. Two show that about fighting girls and "boobies".

That's not true at all. You can always get a second season many years later.
