Still looks like a PS2 game. Why is this on PS4 again? Oh right Sony need the sales so they paid the developers off.

What exactly are you talking about? The ps4 is currently the best selling current gen console by far. Its sales are on pace to match or come close to the ps2, one of the best selling consoles of all time. Bloodborne just released to massive critical acclaim. And the last three Disgaea games were on the ps3 not ps2. Regarding the graphics, its a style of game, nothing to due with actual software engineering capability. Most people who like the series don't really want to see a realistic 3d version of the characters ala ff15. |

Just because the PS4 has increased processor power, doesn't necessarily mean these type of games have the time, resources, and manpower to take full advantage of that power. Their budgets have limitations, and eventually they'd just have to cap it at some level where increasing the budget further won't justify the sales.
