Huh I thought I remember Akito the Exiled was a prequel series not during the same time as Lelouch of the Rebellion.

It takes place after the first season and before the second season.
Really excited for this. First two episodes were very entertaining. More Code Geass is always good.

Conversely, I think the complaints are overstated. There will be two chapters released this year after skipping 2014. We are not talking about Rebuild of Evangelion-style delays here.

I wasn't watching watching Eva in theaters like I have with Akito, so I can't make a comparison, but as someone who has been watching it in theaters, the delays definitely feel very long. I think a one-year delay for anything can be considered long and cause for "complaint."
...Not that I'm really complaining. Just saying that the delay is long.
