Aww, but hopefully an anime adaptation of some sorts someday as well. Maybe?

Yeah, would love an anime adaption...just to see what I've heard a lot about. The series interests me, but my preference for reading will always be print.

Won't read it digitally...reading is the only thing that doesn't have me glued to a screen. Plan to keep it that way. Laughing

Still hyped even tho it's not an anime. This is pretty fitting for live action, I have to say.

Shojo titles like this seem much more likely to get live action adaptations to anime adaptations... I guess it probably has to do with demographics, who reads them and what type of entertainment they are more likely to spend their disposable income on... I would guess that Japanese women of the correct age range for Orange, who are the primary target for and probably the main readers of the magazine, are more likely to go to movies than watch and buy anime. That probably makes sense.

I do hope it gets an anime eventually.

What I really wonder is: Is the story going to be complete by then, or will the movie have some sort of movie ending that is not what the mangaka intends? If it is going to be complete, that means there aren't many chapters left... Sad

So buy the Japanese manga, what's stopping you?

You're missing out on a lot of great series by both NOT reading digital translations and NOT reading Japanese print, so how do you enjoy much manga at all??

The inability to read it. Though, that didn't stop me from buying TWGOK...but, at least I got to experience some of that story thanks to the anime. Razz

Plenty of manga has seen, or is seeing, print.

Looking at my shelves, there are 39 different series sitting there. 13 of those are currently ongoing (at least, when it comes to being translated and published). I've built up a backlog of stuff to read, and I've got a lot more that I'd like to get.

Also, staring at a computer 9-5, then watching some TV when at home...I want something that entertains me without the use of a screen. Laughing

Still, it does pain me that some series I am interested in, 4 in total (Orange, Iris Zero, Kawaisou, Servant x Service), are only available digitally to English readers. And, yeah, I'm only talking about legally available material.
