On the program the two propose and discuss new business ideas.

So it would be like those short-form shows, where the characters discuss an idea in a 5-minute timeframe (or whatever the length would end up being)?

"Pitch me an idea for a show. It needs to be original, unique, but at the same time still pander to an audience that fears change like the plague"

"How about two cute girls talking about work?"

"Not bad. But it's too much. Our core audience are either unemployed or in dead end jobs from which cartoons are the only respite. They don't want women telling them how much better their jobs are."

"Okay. How about two cute girls talking about unemployment?"

"Too little. I think there's something in this idea somewhere. But our core audience are males who already have their mums call them twice a day to tell them to do something with their lives. They don't watch cartoons for that."

"Hmm. How about...we have two cute girls talking about new business ideas?"

"That's it! We'll get the cute girls thing every anime needs, & our USP will be we're giving them ideas to better themselves in business, so it's aspirational too. Cut. Print. Kawaii!"

Adapting a radio talk show into an anime? That's certainly something new.

Garbage like this will get an anime adaptation. Color me surprised. Might be one of those crappy 5-minute cartoon or probably another idols**t.

Radio shows are always a big part of the anime industry. More than half of the animes in the past few years have their own radio shows.

Kekkai Sessen's started 4 months before the season premiere, Nisekoi's came back again with the anime. Kuroko no Basket's has been running weekly since the first season, etc.

Many seiyuu themselves have their own radio shows as well. It is also a great way for fans to get closer to them. Hitokana, DGS, Choroi are examples of super famous radio shows with a huge listening fanbase. DGS even has movies!

I think that this is an excellent opportunity for foreign fans to learn another aspect of the anime/seiyuu industry.

Suzaki Nishi has been really enjoyable so far. Looking forward to their reaction to this in the next episode (100th episode on Wednesday).

Pitching business ideas? Oh, where do fans want to start? Also, with the popularity of internet radio, official transcripts of some of the episodes might help the Western fans.

A radio show does not need an anime adaptation unlike shows focusing on voice acting and idols, there's not much to learn that hasn't been covered in those types of anime, it's standard knowledge. If anything, the stage crew need an anime adaptation badly, think of the shenanigans that go on backstage.

Voogie's Angel was one of the first, if not the first, radio shows to have an anime show of it. I think anime adaptations of radio shows could be beneficial to Western viewers as a way of understanding the dialogue from them.
