I really wish this game would come out already, but at least "Fall" narrows it down a bit. Up until now, it just said that there would be an NA version, so I guess this is progress.

I'm glad it seems to come with a decent sized soundtrack, I was disappointed when the Persona Q soundtrack disk only had a handful of songs on it.

YES! The main thing that was making me consider getting the Japanese release was the soundtrack, so I'm glad the US version will have it too. Although that "Fall" release makes me wonder if "P5" is still coming here this year...
EDIT: Just noticed Amazon has a September release for "P4D," so I guess I don't need to worry about "P5."

Awesome, if it's got the soundtrack I'll definitely get the collector's edition, Persona music is not to be missed. Heck, I still don't have a 3DS (I do have a Vita) but I've got the collector's edition of Persona Q as I did not want to miss owning the CD (and the 3DS case for that matter) for that one (also own Smash 3DS for the soundtrack/Mewtwo DLC deal for owning both it and the Wii U version).

$50 pass. Nobody should be buying into Atlus's continued price gouging of consumers.

Yeah how dare we spend our money on video games overpriced by about $10 dollars. Instead of ignoring them like other people.
