The Legend of Zelda has finally been dethroned! Hopefully Viz made enough money from that to start going after some riskier titles.

They even made a Big Hero 6 manga! Whoa. Very Happy Never expected that, well, kinda-off, considering Japan's love for Disney and the fact that movie is set in a fictional mix between US and Japan.

A small correction: The volume of Shokugeki no Soma that just came out, and is pictured in the post, is volume 6, not volume 5.

It is volume six on the NY Times website. I think Viz released it early to try and capitalise on the anime as I've seen a fair few pictures of people's copies on Twitter.

I'm surprised it happened so quickly. I expected it to be on top for at least a few more months.

Also, Food Wars is published by Viz Media, not Yen Press.

When Naruto's new volume is released, no one can be on top in international markets (it is the biggest selling international manga that recently surpassed Dragon Ball in that).

But Zelda is a cute lass, as well as the lad who tries to save her. They deserve to be popular.
