Cardfight Vanguard dub film? Well this caught my interest. I've never seen a dubbed version of Cardfight Vanguard before.

Wow, now I really wish I was going to AnimeExpo. I want to see that Vanguard movie so bad, even if I have to see it dubbed.

Am I really the *only* one thinking that this is the perfect time to turn the screws on the guys from PonyCan? You know, make them sweat just a little?

Sure they could just ignore a couple questions, but if people could pull off a "Q&A" boycott like that of the Bandai Visual panel a few years back, we could actually get some progress... perhaps... maybe...

Come on, guys! Ask them the tough questions! Make them sweat!! Razz

A producer and a music guy? If they don't have any say-so over Pony Canyon prices, I'd leave 'em be. Bug the higher ups; that'd probably be more effective.

As for Crystal, I'm curious if the Usagi performance will differ from Classic; since there's less goofiness, I wonder if we'll get a more melodramatic performance.

Seriously excited for Little Witch Academia, though! Very Happy

Despite my love for SM I'm probably to pass on the premiere since I'm not happy with Crystal and Usagi's new dub voice kinda irritates me (though it's a good fit). If it isn't a pain to see I'll go see it, but I'm not going out of my way for it lol.

What did they do with Bandai Visual? I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with that incident.

animenewsnetwork.com/news/2007-04-10/fans-confront-bandai-visual-about-pricing (there's an audio clip of the panel in the article which talks about the pricing)

Explanation: This was back when Bandai Visual USA was around and was releasing some of their own shows on DVD. Their releases of Galaxy Angel Rune that was coming out in 2007 was what upset many because that was being released without a dub (which was new because Bandai Entertainment had released the other Galaxy Angel shows with dubs including Galaxy Angel AA which was coming out at at the same time as Rune) and at $20 for 1 episode (Volume 1) to $50 for 4 episodes (Volumes 2-4 each) which for the latter price was crazy because there were companies here releasing the same amount of episodes of their licensed stuff, with and without dubs, for $20-$30 each with no problems so this was a pretty big deal.

It might still be early since the last Dark Kingdom volume got released in Japan back in April (LE Blu-ray) & May (RE Blu-ray & DVD) so it would have to depend on if Toei will allow it or not.

I would expect a release date for R part 2 though.

Ah, okay then. I'm glad someone confronted Bandai Visual USA people about the whole thing. From what I heard, their superiors in Japan were steadfastly against lowering prices though. Ultimately money talks, and Bandai Visual USA was shut down.

I wonder if the same fate will happen to Pony Canyon USA. At this point, I have no idea if they will yield or not. As mentioned earlier though, these are not people with any position of power and cannot change the pricing scheme. I also have to wonder if this was an intentional move, knowing what happened to Bandai Visual USA.

Looking forward to seeing clips! Mainly waiting for the Black Moon arc, as I heard the Pink Child of Doom isn't as annoying as the 90's version there.
