While I agree that such a cause is admirable, how effective such programs like this and D.A.R.E. are is hard to say. It's equally important in measuring the success/effectiveness rate.

Do some of the people involved in Titan licensing or this even know what the manga is about? It´s straight out pro drugs!
spoiler[ The Titan are regular humans who inject a drug into their veins that is made out of bone marrow and turns them into the monster who then mostly go crazy but a chosen few can control the process.] Just look at this cover:

I've got to admit. It's kind of unlikely for "Attack on Titan" to help fight drug abuse in Tokyo. If you've seen the series,it doesn't really seem to matter to the Titans if a person is using drugs or not. They just want to eat them.

It's for this reason that the Titans have earned their barbaric reputation. On top of that, it pretty much validates that "The War on Drugs" is very low on their priority list. |

If anything Attack on Titan related told me to jump off a bridge, I would do it. And yes if I were into drugs I would try my best to quit. (But yeah, it would be a different issue for someone who is not a fan)
