Where's Chaos Dragon? Monster Musume? I mean we know the last 2 are more than likely that Ushio thing and Dragon Ball so I'm kind of disappointed with what they didn't touch. Also, not looking forward to Gansta. as much as most people are. It honestly looks and sounds like a bad Hollywood action flick with all the crappy clichés you can conceive; should be a big hit in NA though.
They actually have some good stuff (Aquarion Logos) but it feels like a lot of the great titles this season are going to be left hanging. Which wouldn't be that big a deal if Sentai could do a half decent job with their licenses but the prospect of them licensing anything has become scary. Man, Funi are simulcasting more and more new shows every season. If there was ever a time to stop watching simulcasts and wait for blu-rays with encodes that don't suck and subtitles that aren't ESL-level, it's now. Seriously, F**k you, Funi. Leave the simulcasts to CR so that people don't have to sit through so much of your lazy garbage.

That is a lot of titles, but I should not be surprised anymore. They got most of what I expected (SHIMONETA and School Prison seemed like possibilities for Sentai). I wonder how many they are simuldubbing.

I'm a bit surprised that Funimation picked up Seiyū's Life. Nonetheless, that was a good surprise, since I somewhat hoped someone would get it.

Oh wow that's a lot.
I'm semi-interested in Snow White with the Red Hair. Seiyu's life I'm looking forward too as it looks similar to lucky star. Castle Town Dandelion looks neat. I'm semi-interested. Sky Wizards Academy looks to go in line with Unlimited Fafnir/Blade Dance of the Elementalers. I'm probably going to love it and see if the LNs are on Baka-Tsuki like the latter 2 (of which I'm up to date on). But I'm not watching on funi. Curse you funi... Just let me watch everything on CR!! and I'm going to have to go to another site for the God Eater anime already... I suppose I could go without the other two as long as I get Seiyu's Life and Sky Wizard Academy... |
