It will be interesting to see whether this spinoff will improve or not improve some of the aspects found in the original light novel. I hope for the former and maybe have this pull a Railgun in terms of popularity and quality storytelling.

I would imagine that Funi would want to do a broadcast dub of this because another licensor getting it and doing a broadcast dub would be inconsistent.

Thats not likely to happen, most folks I know that have seen both don't really like AA at all. In a best case scenario this is Soul Eater Not, in a worst case and more realistic scenario its just a waste of everyone's time.
