Chris Patten as Rentaro? not sure how that would work, and as for Enju, I do like Luci Christian, but I think Hillary Hagg would have been a better choice for her

I know Chris is going on and off with dubs and audiobooks and whatnot, and he and Richard were in Maryland for a while, but I thought he was done with (republican) Texas?

It's a very interesting casting choice I must admit. Luci Christian is a great choice for Enju, but as cool as it is to see another Full Metal Panic reunion I'm honestly not sure about Chris Patton.
Of course I'll have to wait and see it for myself before I cast judgement on it but Yuki Kaji's vocal qualities are completely different to Patton's. Don't get me wrong, I actually like Chris Patton's work a hell of a lot more than Kaji's. I'm just not 100% sure that he's right for the role. |

While I have heard Chris is a few anime, he will always, in my opinion, be the better Yuichi in Kanon (compared to his counterpart).

not to mention its the reunion of the pair that made full metal panic popular in the old adv days. though it seems lately that luci is voicing series that have been licensed by sentai more lately,and less on series licensed by funi (excluding one piece and follow up series like soul eater not) though i highly doubt its anything out of the ordinary since this is the same when adv was around,though there are fans that are overthinking this and have concluded she might do like freeman and call it a career. hopefully its nothing like that,but never say never. |

This is the 4th time these two are cast as the main characters. They work well together and have great chemistry in their given roles. Rentaro Satomi is so made for Patton who knows how to deliver authority and sell absurd lines and Enju Aihara has a lot of spunk to her character that Christian is capable of delivering that side, along with the dramatic stuff.

My favorite Duo in Dubbing is still J Michael Tatum and Brina Palencia. But Luci Christian and Chris Patton are pretty high up there. Probably around my Top 5. Too bad I have just watched the sub like 2 weeks ago, and am reading the Novel now. This show is just too crap to rewatch. Might view a few clips though.
