I think this looks pretty cliche but I'm watching it for 2 reasons:

1. fhána

2. To see what the modern 8-Bit looks like before I cry too much for Rewrite. I hated everything they did except Yama no Susume Didn't watch anything else from them in 2014 or 15.

Grisaia was great! Yeah it was really rushed but as for the art, animation, music and direction it was top-tier. Even though they rushed, it made sense what they did (do all characters backstories in season 1 then just focus completely on the MC storyline for Labyrinth and Eden). They turned their rushing into an advantage, unlike certain studios do (ahem Pierrot ahem Root A ahem). So it shows they have a brain, they just need to know if it's worth using it(popularity so to say)

As for cliche, I don't suggest you judge that with them, they made Grisaia look like it was Cliche as fudge but once season 1 episode 9 was out that was completely reversed (im talking rape, gore, suicide, mental insanity, kids being trained as assassins, human trafficking, terrorists, etc, and the censorship was really well done. They also dumbed down the fanservice to non-existent then too)

I could be wrong about this, but the concepts show some crazy potential with the world of this series as well as the aesthetic.

So far there seem to be just 2 girls, so that makes me hope that this won't turn in some harem in a fantasy setting like the ones from the winter season. And I see there's mecha in the Anichart info, so this might be the first mecha I want to watch since Evangelion. If it's all about big robots, then I might drop it, but to be honest, I only want to watch this one because I like the official poster Razz

from recent developments it seems 8-Bit learned alot from working on Grisais, if that's so, don't judge this series by its cover (in a good way). Its also airing at a rather late time slot, so we can expect something that will be rather.... 16+

The Song TRUE (I assume it is the OP), remind me or has many Vibes of Ar Tonelico. And that is good for me. A little cameo of an old Stuido Ghibli scene, a Starting World like Guran Lagann (The Boy and his Drill to the heavens) but hey it works. You got my interest

and from some scene in the OP, when Felia open her Wings (that cover her Chest area) and feathers arise from her... is she some kind of an Crystal Angel or holiness?

See, OP's are the first thing of Speculation

Looks like it would've been a slam dunk if not the mascot character. I tend to loathe those, unless they're presidents of gondola tour companies.

I can not possibly get enough Fhana. Seriously. <3

Also, yeah, 8-bit did some great work on Grisaia. Production-wise, it was an extremely high quality work.

Will be checking this one out. The world does seem interesting, but it being anime original is enough for me to give it a chance.

I'm not one for mecha, so if that becomes it's focus...I may not stick around.

The one time I sat through a mecha show, it turned out to be M3...it scarred me. And, before M3, I'd never sat through a whole episode of Gundam/Evangelion (have only seen bits and pieces), and I may never do so.

Though, I did watch Zoids as a kid. That considered mecha? Laughing
