Alright, I'm just going to say that where it says in Story Ouka's hair color is not 'twilight' dafuq!? It's sunset-coloured hair from the description in the LN. Also, her nickname is "Calamity" since she killed a witch on the spot not "Azure" . Not only that but their called "The Small Fry Platoon," not Insignificant Platoon It's irrelevant info but it be consistent damn it >3<.

Anti-magic so what are they pro science? Or do they have a grudge against a magician? Card tricks are not that bad.... Smile

That's a matter of how literal you are in translating 雑魚. I can't see any furigana on the anime site to indicate any specific english reading, and it is used consistently in the article. Is this just a case of "my favourite light novel fan translation does it differently"?

According to JA wiki, mobs in games are sometimes called 雑魚キャラクター in Japan.

It's more of a case of mistranslation since in the LN, manga, and anime they are refered as The Small Fry Platoon.

It's more of a "Eliminate anything that isn't normal" type of thing. To do so they use science and some magical stuff.

Personally I compleatly abhor human kinds impulsive actions against the unknown. so I doubt I'll be watching this, I mean it feels very stern and dry kind of like watching one piece from the navy's point of veiw. It would make things a whole lot different if this were like world trigger and had diffent parties which are either intolerant and cautious of the unknown, friendly and open minded, or just neutral.

The world in AMA is setup where there is spoiler[Around 4 sides. The aggressive and peaceful side for the Magic faction. As well as the Inquisition which becomes more aggressive later on, in fact the civilians are somewhat ok with magic. Finally, there is the neutral side, whose members come from the other factions but is smaller compared to ther others]. The hate for one another wasn't like 'oh he does some magic im gonna kill him,' type of thing. Instead it was manipulated into them killing each other.

I think the person writing this article mixed up Ouka and Lapis.

That is hard to imagine since below the Story is the character description with an image.

I'm digging this cast, so looking forward to it. Maybe tonight.

Despite a shaky first episode & character introduction, I think this show might be OK, as long as it won't sink into the notorious Trope Swamp.

In the episode I watched they were referred to as "雑魚小隊", which Crunchyroll (or their licensor) decided to translate as "Small Fry Platoon".
