OK, we'll I've been in Airstreams and I've been in mid-50's Pickups ( A lot ) but I see that she's got updated versions of those 'cause they weren't near that nice. It's a cute short.

A+ character design, animation, and art direction, but oh man is this short's story creepy as hell. Between this and A Letter to Momo, Okiura should NOT write. The worst part is spoiler[the way the woman forgives the robot after hearing his sob story. It would have been more believable if she had dumped him off in some remote area or dismantle him on the spot.]

On the plus side, it's nice to see Okiura utilize cartoony animation and character acting in combination with his realistic art style. I think it's more appealing to look at than full-on realism.

Very nice look, probably only achievable because of its length, like most of this animator project. Being able to work on a 7 minute short is just so outside the norm in the industry. You're never gonna get the budget to work on stuff like this even for most single OVA episodes.

Also, thought I recongnized Megumi's screams.

The animation was top-notch; it can't get enough praise. When I first saw news on this short last Monday I thought it'd turn out to be 3DCG. I was expecting for it be stylized in the same way that Pixar movies are done. Regardless, it gives Disney a run for its money. It's truly 2015 cutting-edge 2D animation.
