Can't wait, hopefully they stream Thunderbolt in the US I really want to watch it even if there's only four episodes at 18 minutes each.

Everything looks great except for that ridiculous gundam design. It needs 4 physical shields held in front of it? Are we going back to Gundam Wing where no one can dodge or something?

In a sector where there appears to be debris everywhere and being attacked by an enemy elite sniper unit I think its all but logical to make sure you are at least harder to hit covering yourself in shields trying to get up to them.

Overall this looks pretty awesome, but I couldn't help but notice that the appearances made by women in the trailer all looked to be relationship-oriented (kissing, hugging, crying about someone, I hope it's more than that in the final show). Also, that one lady that featured prominently from the halfway point onward also seemed stylistically out of place, like they took a modern, sleeker character design and transplanted it into an old-school universe. Otherwise spoken, I really like the vibe and the Gundam designs, so hopefully it gets a simultaneous Western release, looking forward to this one.

This looks awesome. The character designs, jazz(!) and just the overall vibe I'm getting from the promo has me really excited. It's too bad it's only 4 episodes and only 18 mins too. Maybe the other episodes might be longer? Anyway, I also hope we get a simulcast with English subs. My 4 bucks is ready, lol.
This what I'm thinking as well. Also, I'm guessing it can probably detach or swap out a shield for a weapon later on. |

Is it suppose to be 18 minutes? I must mis-read it, sounded like the "First 18 minutes" of the episode was going be released. That's terribly too short. They making only hour worth of a show?!?
I've read some of Thunderbolt, i take it that's Zeon pilotspoiler[ artificial arms aren't added but later? He has peg arms and legs in later half of the manga] Hope this is worth it, but i guess there only charging US $2.00 dollars per rental. I guess a situation its what you get what you pay for" i guess. |

Some people are speculating that the 4 episodes will only cover the space arc and if the series is successful enough Sunrise will green light the Earth arc. Still from what I hear they'll still have to cut some material if they are gonna try and fit the space arc into just 72 minutes. |

This has been an amazing year for Gundam! The Origin films are out there, we have Iron Blooded Orphans, and this show is on the horizon! It all looks great to me.

I'd love to see how the Full Armor Gundam operates on Earth. Although from the looks of it, it would be similar to the Mudrock's incomplete version. |
