Meh, for me I don't care or give a thing for that, I didn't liked it.
For the others who enjoyed it, sad for the team and the players. |

Other then that, many many fond memories this mod has done. Here is to hoping the Dev Team will venture out on to better things. |

It's quite a huge blow that Project M has come to an end after being in service for so long. Oh well, it had a great run with so many different features and new characters being featured... I wish the folks that have been supporting this fan-made project the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Only ever played the game once but I'm definitely sad to see it might be over. Their community seems to have had some hard time lately.

Honestly, considering just how good Smash 4 is, they probably figured their work was done. This whole thing was borne out of a resentment over how much worse Brawl was than Melee, so now that we have the best Smash game there's honestly no reason for Project M anymore.

This sure is a shame.
I'm perfectly happy with Smash 4, but I do appreciate the hard work done by the guys at Project M. I find it more than a little bit likely that Nintendo's stance on fan-works had something to do with this. |

Isaac gets screwed again.
Never played the mod, though, as I'm too paranoid to do any such things on consoles that can be bricked. Only on the PC do I download CC! |

Closer observation has revealed that the actual reason for the sudden shutdown of Project M was due to a huge potential of facing multiple lawsuits.

Huh, that's weird. I wonder why now and not before. Me, I never played Project M because I was one of the people happy with Brawl the way it is. I played the game with the Nunchuk+Wiimote scheme, and I preferred the game with items on, every stage, random characters, and 4 players. (Though I do prefer Stock over Time.) Basically, I was a near-opposite of the type of player Proejct M was aimed at. Now I just play For Fun in Super Smash Bros. 4. |
