This looks like what you would see in a business that is facing a desperate financial situation, they hastily cast about for new ventures & business and if something isn't instantly successful they fold it quickly.

It seems that the huge competition of other Cloud platform companies have finally done them in; I'm sure this company disappearing won't have any real effect on most mobile users.

Shinra was different. It was meant to use cloud technology to aid in game development, rather than distribution. |

The company's name is Shinra.
And it's a "Cloud"-based service? I see what you did there, Square-Enix.

I can just imagine Reeve, Scarlet, Heidegger and Palmer all crowded around a table in the Shinra conference room, when all of a sudden Rufus busts through the door. Rufus: "Gentlemen, change of plans! We're getting out of the energy business and putting all our stock into the creation and distribution of pachinko machines." Everyone else: "DAAAAAWWWWWWW!!!!!"
