I find it weird that they're using the original USA look of the Powerpuff Girls and not the anime look from Powerpuff Girls Z. On top of that, they're not releasing products to the USA? Strange how things work out sometimes...

This is a promotion by Cartoon Network to promote the anniversary of the US version. PPGZ was a separate TV Tokyo show. America wont get this for the same reason they did not get PPGZ or other anime remakes, these exist to promote the property in Japan so they are useless to air in their home market.

I didn't really care for the first collab, but these are so cute! If they start making plushies, I'd find a way to snatch a Maki somehow...

Very nicely done. Wouldn't mind if they continuing this, as its just a nice blend of both franchises.

Seeing that art for the new PPG, I wish they made their bodies longer like the original. It seems off to me of seeing their heads so big with a shorter body.

There's one huge problem with that, it's being done by cartoon network. Pretty much all their shows are made for the average kid with ADD. Just look at what Nick did to the new Avatar shows. I'd rather they not bring old shows back just so they could butcher them with the requirements of modern television.

PPG was always done by CN.
Unless you're referring to its original creator Craig McCracken not working on the new series.
So we'll see what happens with the new staff, like staff changing for an anime between the 1st series and the 2nd series.

When do we get our official Love Live ponies?

Still, this is one of the few Love Live merchandise that would definitely not look weird when carried around in public in the United States.

Also, only the marketing by Cartoon Network makes the shows look like they're only for kids with ADD. Uncle Grandpa is the only series that is actually like that. Contrast with shows like Clarence or Steven Universe, which are slice-of-life and coming-of-age stories, respectively. Or Over the Garden Wall, which plays out closer to a novel than it does anything Cartoo Network's ever done.

Dictionary time: According to it's Merriam-Webster.com entry, halation is a noun that, according to the entry, had it's first known use in 1859. It means "the spreading of light beyond its proper boundaries in a developed photographic image" or is "a bright ring that sometimes surrounds a bright object on a television screen"
