Nooooooooo...!!! This can't be true!
What happened? First Kawada-San, now Galileo! My heart can't take this...

Yeah, this is pretty tough to take in so soon after Mami Kawada's retirement announcement .

I hope the Stance Punks or Asian Kung Fu Generation don't retire any time soon. 2016 really isn't a good year for musicians

This significantly depresses me. I loved the AnoHana TV series and movie openings. The Terror in Resonance opening was great too, but i'll always associate them with AnoHana.

what a bad start of a week... really wasnt expecting this since 2015 was a great year for them (they did some of their best songs). eventough we know yuuki ozaki will still perform op/ed without the other members, its rrly sad seeing a great band disbanding... loved them <3

There is so much feels in seeing Galileo Galilei disband.
Perfect time to check out Anohana, I guess. . . . . .

Sounds like they know it's time to move on, give them the credit they are due as Professional Musicians that they have recognized it.
Better to stop now than end up mad at one another.

Aw, this is really sad I'm sure they all have many good things ahead though. I wish them luck.

They made only four albums, yet GG is calling it quits... Perhaps they thought that it would be best to retire while they're at their peak. In any case, I wish them the best of luck with their future plans.

Why do you think the musicians will have a hard time faring well in 2016?

Even though I haven't liked their newer stuff as much (since ~2014), they were still easily one of my favourite bands and it's sad to see them go. I kind of wish I'd had the chance to see one of their concerts, though I'll be keeping an ear to the ground to see what comes next.
