This definitely sounds like something I would enjoy. Not only because I think lolis are adorable, but because the idea of first love, and childhood is nostalgic and appealing. I hope that it isn't a short either. It sounds like it could be a really interesting commentary on growing up.

I think you didn't read enough; She didn't see teachers kissing, she saw her teacher kissing. Now, if it wasn't another teacher then it would be someone else in an elementary school. To put it bluntly, two teachers kissing shouldn't be much different that parents or relatives kissing to an elementary girl as they're all authority figures... but if it was someone her age then she has to stop and think, "What if that was me?" I'm sure it's all perfectly nice and innocent because that type of thing always gets the "drama" tag instead of the "comedy" one. |

Well, seeing as the OVA's that this series has gotten are 14 minute episodes, I'd hope that this would be a full 24 minute tv anime series.
It's funny that this has come about after the whole discussion on manga we'd like to see get anime. This series is one I've heard of, because fans of the series have gone seeing the manga not be licenses...and they hoped that the manga would get a tv series. Now, they have their wish. Feel like I could start this part of my post with, "You didn't read enough".  Google helps, people. Teacher kisses spoiler[another teacher]. Click here.
And, yeah, apparently they don't know what it means to kiss someone (mentioned in a review for the OVA). |

While I am looking forward to this new series, it is nothing new. An anime called Mizu-iro Jidai has done it all before. Starting middle school, growing up, having her first period, falling in love (and getting moody and argumentative) and contemplating having sex! It was quite good. Very slice of life.

Brother Dear Brother did it all more than 20 years ago.
Of course it wasn't about lolis but 16-17 year olds so probably it wouldn't suit modern "moe" taste. Where everyone looks like an 8 year old.

Wow, when I saw people were going to pull out similar shows, would've thought that they'd be more recent. 20-25 years...no wonder I never heard of either of these 2 shows.
