>Video says 12 new classes Obviously, they're hiding the final 3 classes from us. I'm guessing that at least one of the final 3 are spoilers, if not 2, and the third is spoiler[Tomahawk], which it seems spoiler[is being changed for the Western release, and may not be finished]. Looking at the new classes, and the 6 non-returning classes, there's a few obvious parallels: spoiler[Catmancer] is obviously replacing spoiler[Vampire], considering it involves spoiler[learning spells from enemies, and is your standard Blue Mage-type class] spoiler[Patisserie] is likely replacing spoiler[Salve-Maker], as both spoiler[involve creating things to help your party or hurt your enemies] spoiler[Wizard] seems that it may be replacing spoiler[Arcanist], both being spoiler[higher-powered versions of the lower-level Black Mage] Going along with the above, spoiler[Bishop] would be the replacement for spoiler[Spiritmaster], as spoiler[the higher-powered version of the lower-level White Mage]. Interesting, though, that spoiler[in the first game, and traditionally, it's the Black Magic line that usually gets Doublecast, whereas it seems that that's the perk of Bishop here]. spoiler[Astrologian] may be analogous to spoiler[Conjurer], since both spoiler[involved buffs, but have a completely different source for magic]. I'm not sure on that one, without seeing ability lists. Neither spoiler[Charioteer, Fencer, Exorcist, nor Guardian] really have anything that looks like it echoes spoiler[Spell Fencer], though one of the unshown jobs, spoiler[Kitsune] does have a chance of spoiler[incorporating magic into attacks], which could echo spoiler[Spell Fencer] enough to be considered its replacement. |

There is ONE screenshot, from months ago, that show a Cowgirl outfit instead of the Native American-themed Tomahawk.
Given what's going on with the Redskins, it's completely reasonable that they'd change the job. |

Somehow I have an ominous feeling that the three classes that weren't shown in the trailer have a huge change of being on Nintendo's censorship chopping block...
 I hope I'm wrong on that.

It's really not reasonable. It's a video game. It does not represent real life. It's fiction. All in good fun. |

Well let's say they do something with it. I'd take a full outfit swap over the class being just straight up removed any day. With that said I'd love to know exactly how they hell they are going to change up the holder of the Tomahawk astrisk since she is pretty obviously a Native American. Less they manage to change her to a rustler. |

I am a bit confused. When did it become taboo to have Native American characters in media in America? And wouldn't replacing it with a cowboy have unfortunate implications given the pasttime of Cowboys vs Indians where Cowboys kill Indians?
