Ai Nonoka is credited for "Design Works" Is this just an instance of someone with the same name?

In before the inevitable excessive whining over it not being "Gurren Lagann/KILL la KILL 2.0" and/or it being too short or cheap-looking, and the equal amount of excessive gushing about how it is "redefining and/or saving anime" and that it is greatest thing of its kind on the planet. Such is the burden of any new Imaishi and TRIGGER (to a lesser extent) work. Rolling Eyes

Looks interesting, nice, and Imaishy/TRIGGERY. Looking forward to it. There.

On a related note, I am glad Crunchyroll goes out of its way to nab anime shorts. While some may not be too good, there a good number of them that are very enjoyable. Hopefully one of these days, someone will license and release a few of them stateside (unlikely that may be).

Not really. We've known for months that this would be a short, and Kiznaiver starts in the spring.

Given that this reminds me of a Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon animation style, it's possible this show's creators were influenced by said animation.

CR announced that they will simulcast it.
