Seems to be another chunibyou-esque plot. Aside from that, the English title is driving me nuuuuuuuts. I hope it gets corrected if it gets picked up for streaming.

I usually don't care for anime adaptations like these, but always give them a shot when they air.

The description though could use some clarity. Going by the manga adaptation (1st chapter at that), yes the girl did confess to him one day in-game, but he had already been helping her in-game for awhile when that happened and the story takes place about a year after they had first met in-game. By the start of the story the two are already married in-game.

The story seems to try and delve with the ideas about the barrier between real life and in-game life. Where and how people draw up boundaries, what elements do or can transcend those boundaries, etc. Not going to say it does it all well, but just some of the things it seems to try and touch on.

As long as history won't repeat itself and we'll get DELETED or whatnot.

Something feels dirty, or maybe just morally wrong, about that sentence.

Of course there aren't girls on the internet, it's against the rules.

Murder, She wrote:

The story centers on Hideki Nishimura, a young man who confessed to a person he thought was a girl online, only for that person to turn out to be a boy. He keeps this "black history" secret and swears to never to trust a "girl" online again.

Everybody already knows this from the early days of internet! Laughing

Murder, She wrote:

However, one day a girl online confesses to him, and it turns out she's actually a beautiful girl named Ako Tamaki. Ako cannot tell the difference between the online world and reality, and she is a loner who has trouble communicating.

OK, now that's an obvious sign as any that's she's clearly a dog!

A beautiful girl? Loner? On the internet? Who can't tell reality?

She's a dog, homey

Or somebody's lying in the internet!

Me too. The wording on this title isn't helping me either.

Another light-novel-adaptation-anime-that-get-super-long-title-name-but-in-the-end-will-got-short-form-title-name-soon-because-we-will-eventually-forget-this-anime-shortly-after-finish-airing

Serious mode, the plot summary kinda interesting, so I assume this is a love comedy?

I will definitely follow this series.

I hope thw manga is a horrible adaptation, because the premise sounded midly interesting for me so I read teh manga but the actual plot was pretty bad, to put it bluntly, this is below average for this type of series, there were only like 3 fun moments as far as 10+ chapters or so of content (the identity of the guys that are part of the party)

The plot sounds even more terrible than these kinds of things usually are. An otaku shut in meets a female otaku shut in who actually manages to be interested in him, so he and his otaku shut in friends decide to "correct" her personality? Neutral

The manga for this is terrible. Haven't read the novels.
I wonder if this is popular enough in Japan to warrant an anime production? I know at least 7 other titles that are much more deserving of anime productions.
