Kind of difficult for me to tell the gameplay from the cutscenes sometimes.

I take it that this game's single-player mode is a cutscene-fighting-cutscene-fighting kind of approach, where you're locked into a character and you're asked to defeat another one?

well as it's done by Spike, i imagine that it will be similar to Budoaki Tenkaichi or J-Stars
