Meanwhile, other charities are using 3D printing to send artificial limb-prosthetics to Africa.
Someday we'll get this thing figured out, but I doubt it.

It's not uncommon for older HIV patients to have mobility problems.
HIV patients tend to "age fast", which is to say they experience natural aging symptoms such as loss of mobility far earlier in life than usual. This is often made worse by the medications they take, which have a range of side effects that wreak havoc on the body in various ways.

Exactly my thoughts.
Also, thank you BodaciousSpacePirate for the insight. I was wondering about that myself and don't know enough about the long-term effects of HIV.

I hope they succeed with the fund rising. As a side note, I love how Oda depict the "okama" in One Piece.

I don't get what you're going for? Thats great that charities are doing that but that doesn't mean 3-d printing can't be used for art or novelty.
It was actually a strong social statement by the artist because she lives in a society where theres a public penis festival but she was punished for creating her own very unique kayak.

That's pretty fascinating and great. I'm going to try and donate, as well as boost~.
Lots of people could do to watch and be more informed too, because I see so much non-sense and talk over LGBT+ people (especially those that are Asian).
