I would so laugh my ass off if this turns out to be a "proper" version of Ninja Slayer, and not the one that aired web-only. It would be the ultimate troll.

Am actually interested in what changes are going to be made for this version. I did find the series pretty entaintaining for the most part(worth it for that last episode which was amazing).

Me too, I had a lot of fun watching this. I wonder what they've changed.

Unless they properly animate it, I'm better off watching Aqua Teen episodes.

The article said the show's "'special edition' broadcast will recompile the streamed episodes". Unless they are actually adding scenes or new OP/ED to the TV version, I think this means they are making (the "recompiling" part suggests that to me) this version into a standard 22-24 min. episode.

And from this it sounds like it will be two episodes combined to make a full episode.

I'd like to finish this series someday, but did ANN ever give it a full review? They stopped reviewing it after the 12th episode I think and said they'd review the rest when it finished airing. I've been waiting for that to surface before I sink the time in something that might not be worth it. I enjoyed the 8 or so episodes that I saw, but not enough to really want to keep watching it, you know?

@Jayhosh: I guess they didn't it wasn't popular enough among the ANN staff.

My favorite line in the series is in Ep. 19. Around 11:10, Ninja Slayer asks if Nancy betrayed him. The subbed version reads "No, she wouldn't betray me in any way". The dubbed version says "she'd never give me up, never let me down, or hurt me". The fact that Vegeta did a Rick-roll line is funny.
