Oh I noticed that this is going to actually air on TV rather than online stream. Animation still looks pretty much the same as before though.

As mentioned in the other thread, it was confirmed by those who went to the event that there won't be any CG transformations for this season so if we're lucky, we might get something similar to what Chibimoon got on Act 25 which would be nice.

Animation looks to be an improvement from the last two seasons. I'll give it a chance. I'm really hoping we give the girls some personality this time around.

The animation looks better. Then again they could just be using the best animated scenes. I am hoping for a better story. Please let the characters have personalities. I miss the old character designs. Too bad the first two seasons couldn't go for the quality of "I will punish you" scene animation of each soldier. That was the only well done animation of the first two seasons of Crystal.

Despite me not liking Crystal's two first arcs, I'm actually really excited looking at this! The animation looks more smoother than the last two arcs...and believe it or not, they look more closer to the manga this time around even with some nods to the 90's anime. Why is Moon's Spiral Heart Moon rod tiny though? I liked it when it was big
I'll check to see if it's good though. I'll give it a chance. I just hope it's not shot by shot again...and they better not make the Inner Senshi useless too. Well, let's wait and see if Toei can actually make a proper modern Sailor Moon anime now... |

you have a bad memory, the animation is completely different now. even the style has been changed in many ways. looks like an entirely new team is working on it tbh. |

It means it's Aleph-one infinity, not Aleph-null infinity. (ah, obscure math jokes...) I think I'll skip watching this for now. I'll wait until the season is shown, then come back and read everyone's comments to see in what new way they broke everyone's hearts. |

I'm totally relieved that the transformation sequences are going back to being hand-drawn instead of being featured in CGI.
 The animation of them in 3D were awkward.

Other than the eyes and differences in some of the designs of the characters, it looks like the same, especially seeing it in motion. Seems they are going for being more expressive while also being less detailed here and there to express that. While I'll miss how older the inner scouts looked in the other seasons, it does seems like I got some of it back in Neptune and Uranus. |
