I awoke to find myself in the Age of Tags
Not of Iron, Stone, or Bronze
Simply Tags

The insecurities in the hearts and minds of man
Made them feel the need to have others know where they were
To feel safe and sound they started the tagging

Everything is tagged. recorded, tracked
Organs, minds, hearts, (souls?)
All tagged and all being tracked

I have a tag so people know where I am
The places I go have tags so I can find them
There are tags so people know where I have been

I'll never be lost
Someone always knows where I am
Even if that person isn't me

There's a tag for my IQ, blood type, gender, race, lineage
There's a tag for my job, education, religion, political views
I am organized, categorized, and easily referenced

Everyone knows everything about me
Who I was, am, and will be...
I may not wear my heart on my sleeve but everything else about me is there

My personality has a category
My thoughts are numbered and cross-indexed
My spirit has been indexed for easy reference
