Central Park Media did not announce any new acquisitions at their Anime Expo panel.
As announced earlier via press releases, CPM will launch two new graphic novel imprints. Korean manhwa titles will be released under CPM Manhwa, while Be Beautiful will be the label used for shounen-ai and yaoi titles.
In addition to the manhwa series available currently, up to twenty titles will be introduced in the near future. Be Beautiful titles, which were featured in a recent Village Voice article, will include Kizuna (3 volumes), Golden Cain (1 volume), and Selfish Love (2 volumes). Each volume will be priced at $15.99 and some volumes may be shrink-wrapped, depending on the content. Golden Cain and the first volume of Kizuna are set to be released in August, while Selfish Love is currently scheduled for publication in September.
