The Central Park Media New York Comic Con Panel and Nacho Party was run by John O'Donnell and Peter Tatara. The one new license confirmed was Negaton: The Monster from Mars, a 25-minute all-CG "tribute" to the monster movies of the 1950's. Notable anime releases in the next several months will include Kizuna (with extras such as video of Kazuma Kodaka's lecture and autograph session at the Japan Society in New York), Animation Runner Kuromi 2 (scheduled for May), the Shadow Star Narutaru box set (June), and Votoms (all 52 episodes split between four releases, in March, April, June and August, at $34.98 per.) Finally, details about the long-awaited Utena reprice have finally emerged. The entire series will be spread over three releases; the first is out now, the second is due in April, and the third in June, at $39.95 each.
