Adapting Anime

At Anime Boston 2007, fans were given a chance to grill three key players in in the anime industry about what it takes to adapt anime for television broadcast; David Williams, longtime producer for ADV Films, Terry Ho, a producer at Geneon, and Grant Moran, an industry veteran with 15 years' experience working with television animation (his most recent work being the TV adaptation of Viewtiful Joe). Topics covered include television censorship, the perils of dealing with picky network executives, demographics for anime, and a host of other issues.
