Tekken video game producer Katsuhiro Harada wrote on Twitter that he is listening to fans who want a Xenosaga HD video game collection. Harada said that he researched if such a release would be profitable but was "not able to find the necessary market size that will pay for the development fee needed to create the HD remaster."
Harada stated that it wasn't enough to get tweets "from the same person sent to me everyday," but multiple fans who want to see an HD remaster of Xenosaga to ask for it. "A miracle would happen if several tens of thousands are gathered at the end," Harada wrote.
He also mentioned that measures like Kickstater and crowdfunding would be a "last resort."
