The official website for the Ryū ga Gotoku Zero: Chikai no Basho (Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oaths) prequel game announced on Tuesday that the game will debut in Japan on March 12, 2015.
The game follows Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima as they work in "Kamurocho" in Tokyo and "Sōtenbori" in Osaka in 1988. The game will feature Japanese brands and businesses as they were in the 80's, as well as playable Sega games from the era.
Sega will ship the game for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles. Several mini-games will be available on an app for PlayStation Vita, from which players can transfer money and power to the main game.
