Animax UK Streams Gundam Reconguista in G

The website Animax UK announced this week that it will stream Gundam: Reconguista in G in the United Kingdom. The seven existing episodes will be available to subscribers starting November 15, followed by the subsequent episodes from Japan. Australian distributor Madman licensed the series in October and is also streaming the series on its website
The story takes place in the Regild Century Year 1014 (R.C. 1014), where the creation of humanoid mobile suits of war is now taboo. Bellri Zenam is a cadet in the Capital Guard, the protectors of the tower. During a space pirate attack, Bellri crosses paths with the G-Self, a mobile suit with unknown technology. Bellri must pilot the G-Self to uncover the mysteries behind the space pirates, the G-Self, and his own destiny.
The brand new series was created for the 35th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam. Gundam: Reconguista in G sees the return of writer and director Yoshiyuki Tomino, the original creator of Mobile Suit Gundam. The series is planned to run for half a year, or 26 episodes, and is produced by Sunrise.
