Media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it added the live-action drama series Doctor's Affairs (Ishitachi no Renai Jijō). The entire series is already available to premium users in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe (except for Russia). Free users in the same regions are only able to view the series' first four episodes, with four new episodes being made available each following week.
Crunchyroll describes the live-action series:
A younger surgeon, Haruki Morita falls in love with an older female doctor, Chizuru Kondo.
The series premiered in Japan on April 9 on Fuji TV, and concluded on June 18, after 11 episodes. Takumi Saitō (Space Battleship Yamato) and Yuriko Ishida (Princess Mononoke, From Up On Poppy Hill) portray the lead roles as Haruki Morita and Chizuru Kondo, respectively.
