Devil's Third's Valhalla Game Studios, The Walking Dead's Valhalla Motion Pictures in Trademark Dispute

American production company Valhalla Motion Pictures, Inc (The Walking Dead) filed a trademark dispute against Valhalla Game Studios for "priority and likelihood of confusion" due to the two companies' similar titles and logos in March 2012. The oral hearing has been scheduled for Friday, November 12.
Valhalla Game Studios was founded by Dead or Alive's Tomonobu Itagaki in 2009. The company released Devil's Third for Wii U in Japan on August 4 and in Europe on August 28. The game will launch in North America on December 11. A PC version is in development.
