Sony Confirms Gravity Rush Remastered Game Will Get Retail Version in N. America

Sony Computer Entertainment America head of software marketing Asad Qizilbash confirmed on Twitter on Saturday that Sony will release a retail version of Gravity Rush Remastered in North America following fan reaction to the game's previous digital-only release plan. Physical copies of the game, which will ship in North America on February 9 for US$29.99, are now available for pre-order on Amazon.
Gravity Rush Remastered is the remastered PlayStation 4 version of the 2012 PlayStation Vita game Gravity Rush. Sony will release the game in Japan on December 10, in North America on February 9, and in Europe on February 10. Sony had already planned physical releases for Japan and Europe.
Gravity Rush Remastered will receive a limited Collector's Edition release in Japan, which will bundle a Figma figure.
Sony showed a trailer for the game during the SCEJA press conference in September.
Sony is developing a sequel for the game, titled Gravity Rush 2, which is slated for a release on October 2, 2016.
In addition to the games, a "special animation" has been green-lit.
