Nicole Perlman, Brian K. Vaughan, More Join Hasbro's Cinematic Universe Writer's Room

The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog reported on Thursday that the Hasbro Cinematic Universe has finalized its writer's room. The shared universe will combine five Hasbro brands: G.I. Joe, Micronauts, Visionairies, M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) and ROM.
Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind) will oversee the writer's room and serve as executive producer of the films. Michael Chabon (The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay), Brian K. Vaughan (Y: The Last Man, Saga), and Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain Marvel co-writer) are in charge of planning the interconnected universe.
Other members of the writing room include:
- Lindsey Beer (Kingkiller Chronicle adaptation)
- Cheo Coker (Luke Cage showrunner)
- John Francis Daley and Jonathan Godldstein (Spider-Man: Homecoming)
- Joe Robert Cole (Marvel's Black Panther)
- Jeff Pinkner (The Dark Tower adaptation)
- Nicole Reigel (Dogfight)
- Geneva Robertson (New Tomb Raider project)
Hasbro's chairman and CEO Brian Goldner and vice-president and CCO Stephen Davis will produce the films at Allspark Pictures. Hasbro's head of storytelling Josh Feldman will serve as co-executive producer. Hasbro artists will also play a role in the writer's room as they will be available to help create concepts and characters for the films.
