Gangan Online Magazine's Website Launches 2 Countdowns

Square Enix's official website for its Gangan Online web manga magazine launched two countdown timers on Sunday.
The first countdown timer ends on January 5 at 12:00 p.m. JST (January 4 at 10:00 p.m. EST), and the second countdown ends on January 12 at 12:00 p.m. JST (January 11 at 10:00 p.m. EST).
Hiroyuki Etō publishes his Mahōjin Guru Guru 2 (Magical Circle 2) sequel manga on Gangan Online, and also published his eight-volume Mahōjin Guru Guru Buyūden Kitakita spinoff manga on the site. One of the characters in Magical Circle 2 who stars in Mahōjin Guru Guru Buyūden Kitakita wears a straw skirt.
Eto's original Mahōjin Guru Guru manga inspired a television anime adaptation in 1994-1995, the Doki Doki Densetsu Mahōjin Guru Guru sequel adaptation in 2000, and an anime film in 1996.
