Encouragement of Climb Anime Gets 'Big Announcement' in March

The official website of the television anime of Shiro's Encouragement of Climb (Yama no Susume) manga announced on Tuesday that a special "premium screening" of the anime will have a surprise guest and a "big announcement." The screening will take place at the Aeon Cinema Musashimurayama on March 12. The screening has a new visual for the anime.
The manga and anime tell the story of childhood friends: Aoi, a girl who prefers staying inside and who has acrophobia, and Hinata, a girl who loves mountains. The two decide to climb a mountain in order to once again see the Morning Sun from its peak as they did when they were young.
8-Bit adapted the manga into a television anime. The first season premiered in 2013, and the second season premiered in 2014. Crunchyroll streamed both series as they aired in Japan.
